@aetios child me always thought it was weird that it was called good friday, turns out it's just an old meaning of the word good that died out
The term Good Friday comes from the sense 'pious, holy' of the word good.[12] Less common examples of expressions based on this obsolete sense of good include 'the good book" for the Bible, 'good tide' for Christmas or Shrovetide, and Good Wednesday for the Wednesday in Holy Week.[13]

(context: op-amps)
Operational amplifiers are almost always used with negative feedback, in which part of the output signal is returned to the input in opposition to the source signal. (It is also possible to have positive feedback, in which the signal returned to the input aids the original source signal. However, negative feedback turns out to be more useful in amplifier circuits.) Frequently, we analyze op-amp circuits by assuming an ideal op amp and employing a concept that we call the summing-point constraint.

@stefan @aetios cameras are such a fascinating financial thing though, because of lenses being so expensive

i justified getting a camera because the camera was only €225

and then proceeded getting €250 and €400 lenses

i absolutely love the €400 lens tho

@hazelweakly if you haven't yet by the way - you can swap the `~ and §± keys by changing the keyboard layout in the macos settings if you want.

it will of course make the keys do something different from what they say, but that's easy enough to get used to.

not sure if you can make the `~ button act as a shift too (so you can fatfinger it to your heart's content) but surely there's tools for that (though knowing the mac ecosystem it'll probably cost like €25)

@hazelweakly it usually is a second \| key (which also isn't very useful). AltGr is in stead of the right Alt key

@hazelweakly @helle at least framework had the foresight to make the top case compatible with both layouts (though replacing the keyboard still requires you to unscrew a bunch of tiny screws)
