I currently have a black background on the new desktop PC and it stresses me a bit. It reminds me of that night where my uncle caught a virus that changed the wallpaper into a scary alert over a black background and infected other files, triggering his AV's alarm too (old AVG, that happened ~15 years ago) every now and then.
I don't exactly remember how the alert looked like but the dread is still quite present. Just thinking of it is enough.
