I contacted customer support and made an appeal. They very quickly responded that I'm permanently suspended from the platform (and Stripe) because my Mastodon profile (@alice) associates me with @AltAfterDark.
So, that's that.

I'll be looking for another way to accept tips (as it's kinda my lifeline); if you have any suggestions that don't involve platforms that'll ban me for posting some wholesome-ish adult content on my own social media profile, I'd live to hear them.
@alice@AltAfterDark It is true that payment processors seem to be the problem here, as liberapay say the same:
The payment processors Liberapay supports have unfavourable policies towards sexual content. PayPal requires pre-approval, and Stripe prohibits it entirely. So, while it is possible to use Liberapay for some adult-only content, it is usually better to use a platform specialized in such content.
@alice it's also such a shame that cryptocurrencies turned out to be so incredibly shit in so many ways.. They could actually have been pretty interesting for this specific use case
though on the other hand, the European SEPA system would allow you to just share your IBAN and SWIFT, and people could just transfer money from their banking apps, no payment processors involved. sadly the US isn't in on it :(
