I don’t know who invented the ISO keyboard layout but ruining the left shift key and the enter key are unforgivable crimes

And tilde next to z? Who likes this??

@hazelweakly I still have 2 laptops I wish I could do a keyboard swap on. But they are Apple so I doubt that is easy. (They are gifts I think, because I'd always order ANSI-International)

@helle @hazelweakly sadly you can't remove a macbook keyboard without destroying it (it's riveted in)

@helle @hazelweakly though perhaps you could swap the entire top case?

@sijmen @helle It’s a company laptop so absolutely not. But even then, swapping the top case isn’t really possible anyway. If you want a different physical key shape you basically need a separate laptop (although that isn’t really limited to just apple anymore)

@hazelweakly @helle at least framework had the foresight to make the top case compatible with both layouts (though replacing the keyboard still requires you to unscrew a bunch of tiny screws)
