Had a such a wholesome interaction on the train
Saw the lady sitting next to me nodding off, so when she was awake momentarily I asked her what station she needed to get off on, so I could wake her if necessary. She said "Oh, at Deventer", which was the next station. "Oh, that's a coincidence" "Yeah, as if by instinct".
Seconds later, we crossed the IJssel bridge, with a beautiful sunset view (I would've taken a picture), so I mentioned how beautiful that view was. She: "Yeah, it's always beautiful. No matter the weather, sunny, overcast, rain. I love it here". Me: "Indeed. I might end up in Deventer someday" She: "Oh I really hope you do, I've been absolutely loving living here all my life", as she got up to leave the train.
I tend to prefer commuting by car, but gosh interactions like these are such a beautiful thing
