ahh, did a full Google Takeout, and they seem to have 53.4 GB on me. curious what that's gonna be - my google storage usage is 11.2GB (which afaik includes Google Photos and Gmail)

Twitter, CSAM, ukpol @babe the Dutch government has an official instance (social.overheid.nl) which some organizations set up camp on, to which access is strictly moderated. From their instance home page (translation below):
4. Hoe vraag ik een account aan voor mijn organisatie?

Alleen overheidsorganisaties kunnen een account krijgen. Je organisatie moet vooral een publieke taak hebben en staan in het Register Overheidsorganisaties. Stuur een e-mail vanaf je werkadres naar mastodon@minbzk.nl. Vermeld in de e-mail:

- De naam van je organisatie;
- Waarom je een account wilt;
- Wie de contactpersoon is.

4. How do I request an account for my organization?

Only government organizations may get an account. Your organization needs to have, above all, a public task, and be registered in the Register of Government Organizations. Send an e-mail from your work address to <email>. Mention in this e-mail:

@Erpel Yeah - but seeing photos that haven't been post-processed to hell and back by smartphone software (or a good Lightroom session) does feel nostalgic

@kopper Matrix federation is cool and works quite well nowadays. Signal end to end encryption is very important for 1-on-1 messaging, and small group chats. IRC is neat for its simplicity. They're all really cool platforms in their own ways.
