@jeder I think this is mostly because of supermarkets outcompeting smaller stores and them consequently having to move closer to supermarkets to have even a chance of attracting people

Also there's many cities that started off as a lintdorp (linear development) for idk reasons, that might also be a major cause

Finally I guess it's what dutchies like. Most people (as you said) bike to the shops. I don't, am limited to a Jumbo and a couple meh smaller shops, and don't really like it (Jumbo fucking sucks)

Hm, my local hardware store sells UTP CAT6 for €1,60/meter

And my local Action sells 10 meter pre-made FTP CAT6 cables for €3 each (which I could just cut up into €0,30/meter cable)

(Starbucks is finally leaving the University of Twente, where it was almost unanimously hated by students for being in the way of student workplaces, being loud and obnoxious, and way too expensive. Oh, and they didn't pay any rent because the uni wanted them here so badly)

@jeder @slonk I swear there must be some kind of checklist people follow of mods you must do to your shitbox golf that don't look look good but you have to do if you want to belong

couple examples
- blacking out VW logos
- plastidipping rims/replacing with cheap aftermarket rims
- lowering the car beyond practicality
- lowering your driver seat beyond practicality
- muffler delete
